Allis 8030 or 8050

which do u prefer i like my 7045 except 4 the tight cab these tractors look like they should be pretty comfortable. also considering john deere 4440 2 wheel drive, ive put a lot of hours on them also but im partial to allis and the fwa for same or less money seems like a no brainer. sorry it got long. thanks for your opinions.

I have had both 7050s and 8050s(all new) and 8050 is 10 times better all way around. The big problem is A-C used the 426 molds too long and the engine tolarances were getting sloppy and at 3000 hrs.the engine needed checked. Some were ok and some needed new bearings done.I would buy the 8050,because it's intercooled and has a extra engine oil filter and water filter plus heavier trans and 4 pinion rear end, but thats me.

Well, you definately will not lose out money wise with the JD. I am still partial to AC and the 8050 would win out. 7000 series are good machines--to bad can't put FWA on them. Another option I would consider is a White 120-195. Cummins power, 18 speed trans, very comfortable to drive.
