allis b serial number

where can i find the serial number on my allis b i was told when i bought it was a 1939 but after reading about it i think it"s later it has electric start and hydro"s any help would be great

The serial number is to the rear of the gear shift it will start with the letter B

Hold the gear shifter in your hand. If you use your right hand if you stick your finger out and then drop down your finger will be just over the top of it. Its right in front of the shifter but behind like the other guy says

Its not behind but in front of the shifter. On tractors front is front and rear is rear so its in front. LOL As in towards the radiator
