Hello, Is ther anyone out there that has an Allis Chalmers #40 pulltype combine that is still in useable condition. Thanks

Thank you so much for sharing those pictures. They were really nice. When I was fourteen years old a landowner that my dad farmed for had a handwritten note in his lockbox at his bank leaving to me at fourteen years of age(1966)an Allis Chalmers B,bellymounted sickle bar mower and an all crop 40 combine (always shedded and in perfect condition, canvas and all).Sorry to say a local junk dealer came along one day and wanted to cut up the combine and sell it as junk offering me half of the money he recieved. At the time I wasn't into old combines and I ended up with $12.50. I had spent a lot of time with that landlord and in later years made up my mind if I ever run across one I would buy it and run it in my own farming operation. We only sow 20-25 acres of wheat a year mostly for the straw. Although we use a JD9650STS combine,I still cut wheat with an Oliver 535 combine like my dads first combine was. If you ever hear of a usable allcrop 40 forsale please let me know. Sincerely, THANK YOU Gary Cleaver 765-564-2883 Indiana
