Oil pressure starts out at 25 pounds run for half hour drops to 2-5 pounds thinking bearings 4 cylinder diesel motor same as hd4 thanks

I would say you are probably just about right. Age with worn bearing and a worn oil pump. You might try adding LUCAS oil tteatment and going to 15W 40 wt oil but you are risking disaster if a rod comes unwound.
Be sure and check the cam bearing IF you go into the engine.

Thanks going to take motor out anybody no if u can rebuild oil or is one still available for it
