Allis Chalmers B-7?

Hi, A friend/neighbor of mine just aquired an Allis Chalmers Lawn/Garden tractor that I've never heard of. It's an Allis Chalmers B7. It's smaller, but styling similar to the larger B10/Big Ten versions I see often. It's in original condtion and what we've been told was owned by an Allis Chalmers employee most all of it's life until recently.

Was this a production model? Was it a prototype for a smaller lawn tractor? Any info would be most appreciated! Thanks, Rob
