Allis chalmers CA snap couplers

I"ve been able to locate a good snap coupler bell to put back on my CA but i"m having trouble finding lift arm couplers. All the couplers I see on ebay and the like seem to be for a narrower lift arm like on a WD. Did they make a special one for the CA? Anybody know where I can find a set?

CRS says they are made differently- like pressed/formed steel vs the cast ones on Dad"s 1956 WD45. There were different styles over the WD/WD45 years. Not sure about dimensional differences, but without going through the mud to check the CA I bought last Summer, the arms are also pressed/formed steel, wider than the WD lift arms. Sources? I"d like to find a set too, have the bell already. I can provide names of collectors in MN. Email is open.

D10 and D12 take the same latches. They seem to be harder and harder to find. Best bet would be to watch Ebay.

I've seen lift-arm-latches for the CA on e-bay. Just have to watch.

Go to allischalmersdotcom and post. I'm pretty sure a guy by the name of Tracy Martin reproduces the CA lift arm latches.

If you are changing from a pin hitch to Snap Couple hitch, your lift arms will need to have the bottom end cut off to make the lift latches work. If that is the case it might be better to find a set of lift arms off a SC parts tractor.
