I would like to know what the pto speed is. It says on tractor data that the D15 industrial runs at 875 i am not sure if this would be the I400 or not. If it is 875 can you safely run a 540 rpm brush hog at 875 rpm speed.

If it is a cross over for a D12 does this mean it is only 31HP instead of 40HP as listed on tractor data for an I400.

No, it's gonna be closer to 40, because its a series 3, the early D-12's had a 137.5 cu in motor that was upped to 149 cu in in the later series. My experience with both my D-10, and D-12, series 3 would put the hp at above 40 hp. IMHO, the D-10 was the most HP in the smallest footprint, that Allis made.

Thanks Dave. I am so glad for the internet and the help from people like you that takes the time to help people like me.
Thanks,
Howard
