ALLIS CHALMERS SICKLE MOWER

I have a allis chalmers 3 pt hitch sickle mower and it has on the head TWIN WHEEL DRIVE. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what model it is and where I could find an operators manual.

Twin wheel drive could be 80-m, 80-r, or 80-t. also could be 82, m, r, or t. The difference between 80 and 82 is minor, I think it has to do with how the blade bolts up to the drive head. I believe the newer (82) uses a serrated bushing, and the older one used a collar type bushing.

Sounds like a 80R3. Had a new one back in the 70's. Good mower but a lot of small items that wear the best that I remember. Manual should turn up on ebay.
