Allis Chalmers WD weight?

Anybody know what an AC WD weighs? Thinking about picking one up if my trailer can handle it. Also are there different model WD's? I've noticed that some people call them a WD others call them WD 45. Thanks, Joe

Just looked that up this afternoon. A WD45 weights around 3,800. There was a WD and a WD45. Major difference was the engine, WD was 4x4 for 201 cubic inches, WD45 was 4x4.5" for 226 cubic inches. Carb, head, tranny, and hand clutch were all slightly different. Others can go into great detail, but that's the Cliffs Notes.

WD is the older of the 2 and a little less HP at around 34HP. The WD45 came out after the WD and is around 43HP. Both look pretty much the same but the engine and tranny is different in the 2 of them. Easy way to tell them apart is the WD engine has a bolt on side plate on the right hand side and WD45 engine does not have that plate. But either engine will bolt in so the only way to be sure which it is is by serial number but as I said engine swap so it can also be a mutt made from 2 tractors
