Allis Planter

A farmer here in east Texas bought a 4 row Allis-Chalmers planter at an auction. We want to make two one-row planters and a two-row planter out of it. What we will need is plates for corn, peas, and beans. Where can we purchase plates for an Allis? The only number we can find is 582557. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a heads up- if this is a planter with individually driven row units, that will work, but if are driven by a common shaft.....it is lociento mucho time.

The packer wheek drives each planter box by a chain so we are going to seperate it and make three planters . How would we find out the model of this rig?

If the planter units have double disc openers thay are no.74 units. Plates can be purchase from Lincoln products or you can get an adaptor to use John Deere plates. I use adaptors'
