what is the height and outside dimension of a d17 sleeve. on a sleeve with the 4 1/8 bore how thick is the sleeve from the ID to the OD?

without being able to go to the shop and verrifing it.I am pertty sure they are 9 inches long and close to 1/4 inch thick. it cimes to mind that the narrow area of the blocks bore is 4.500

Hey Mitch, Are you thinking the block is exactly 4.5 inches? or is it a few thousandths bigger or smaller

again without being at the shop and taking a exact measurement . i cant tell you for sure in plus or minus a thousandth . I am strictly running on memory and when it comes to numbers well 12 hour days right now make things cloudy

ok diamond just got home and with a snap gauge and dial caliper still not as accurate as a bore gauge but never the less the small part of the block where the orings are is 4.465 measured it twice.

sleeves should be around .170 thick but it will be less in the oring grooves.

what is the thickness of a stock d17 sleeve in the oring groove and at the thickest point on the sleeve.

Excluding the top lip sleeve is .175 thick . I do not have a depth guage small enough to measure the depth of the oring groove.
