AC made 5500 SP100 combines, so they are not rare. And his description says the engine is stuck and needs two pistons/sleeves. His opening price is awful high for the condition, IMO.

Man so close but great grandpa had a super 100, onna these days ill get one. if anybody heres of one for sale any info would be awsome

Thanks Cort lamey

They made quite a few SP 100 AC"s but I doubt thats theres 125-150 left yet....They arent exactly rare but it took me awhile to find a decent one..My T Gleaner and 100 AC came from within 10 miles of each other about 60 miles away..

Good ones are bringing $2000...This one has been shedded and appears to be in pretty good shape so its probably worth close to $1000 even if the engine needs work..

No matter how many there are still in existence, they are still rarer than an honest politician.

that is the right number of total units , but the first ones were model 100's and had the wd engine in them. in the time they were changing from the 100's to the super 100's they could come with a wd or wd45 engine and the super 100's only had the wd45 engines in them . the steering wheel on the 100 is a bus type and on the super 100's the were angled. the super 100's also had bigger tires and a 2 piece folding unloading auger and a finger auger on the header.

I have a SP100 that I need to sell. It is complete except the engine. I found an engine but haven't had time to work on it. Anyone interested? Southeast Iowa.

Chris, AC made 6500 total Self-propelled All Crops. 5500 were SP100, serial #101-5600, built from 1953 to 1957.

Only the first few months of SP100 production in 1953 had the 201 WD engine. The remainder of SP100's built in 1953-1957 had the 226 WD45 engine.

The combine on Ebay is a SP100.

There were 1000 Super 100's, serial #5601-6600, built from 1957 to 1958. All Super 100's had the 226 WD45 engine

1206SWMO, I think you misunderstood me, I said his opening price is awful high. I would guess it is worth $ 1200-1500. Who starts an auction at top price ?

well it started at 999.99 ended up at 1525.00 I ran it to 1350.ish Im not a AC man but thought it was in great shape would have looked good working in the wheat.I think the auct. winner got a pretty good mach. Thanks Randall

I'm only about 15 miles away from it, so I went to look at it, looked pretty good, good tires. The rubber on the bars looked pretty worn and there was a spot on the shaker that had some breakage, nothing major though. Didn't see anything rusted out. I bid up to 1500. Oh well, it would have taken up a lot of storage space.
