Hi i am looking for a aluminum flat back for a 1951 john deere A does anyone have one around or know were i could get one

Is all you have to do is drill the holes or do you have to surface them also thanks

had to drill hole to mount and for batt box..also fill plug for rearend had to drill and thread hole

The K+K one looks like the factory one, The Tim Harlin one can be made with just the cover or with a hitch/cover combo. The top photo is K+K'S cover that looks stock and the lower is Tim's hitch/cover if your rules allow and non factory looking cover. Both are well made pieces.

K & K doesn't make one for a late A. Shrinkage can be an issue on some of the cast ones.
