How much weight can you save with aluminum wheels on the rear vs pressed steel figuring on 18x38?

I weighed a Nearpass 18 x38 aluminum rim the other day and it was 92 lbs.

How does that compare to a typical steel one?

I have seen 18x38 steel down to 130 and up to ???

Also depends on if you are going to run a tube or not, one tube is around 18 lbs.

We make steel wheels for our own use that will weigh between 110 and 120 but most standard farm wheels will weigh a lot more than that, probably close to 200. I was thinking that the aluminum wheels that we weighed were 75 LBS.

If you've seen his wheels you won't want any, better off to save up for alumnium

No I don't have any pictures. Not looking to sell any. Didn't know ol' Lariaim knew so much about them. Especially since I don't know him. They are pretty simple to make if you're interested my e-mail is there.
