Amway garden tractor???

A friend at work told me today he has an Amway garden tractor. Thinks it was made in the 50s, has a crank start briggs and stratton engine, 4sp trans, hand clutch, automotive rear end. Anyone know what it might be? A google search didn't help. Maybe he has the name wrong?? I might try to buy it if it is fixable. He says the engine still turns, needs tires, and has been outside for a long time. Another project maybe. Thanks for any ideas here.
