Another what'zit worth?

What's the vote on this? I know the select o speed will be a minus, but if it's cheap enough I might consider getting a crash box tranny. I'm kinda thinking $500 max as the tires don't look good at all. Kinda been looking for another project tractor lately.
Ford 901 select o speed, 700

IMO, keep looking. No radiator ($250+ for aftermarket)
No way of testing hydraulics or PTO.
How long has it been since that oil filter has been changed?
Does the engine even turn over?
At that stage I probably wouldn't try to turn it without soaking it.
What are all those cement blocks about?

Looks like a good deal, if you want something cheap this is the only way of getting it. We know running and everything working people want a lot more and some feel they have gold.

Heard from seller, says it was his Dad's mowing tractor for many years until the radiator started leaking, pulled the radiator and decided not to fix it up.

Probably going to pass, just kinda thinking, maybe, and one can't have too many tractors!

Gold front rim(s).

Interesting, but I would likely draw the line at $500 with the available information.

Wish it was closer to Alabama -i would love another project. I would buy it for sure. Row crop fords are rare down here. My 960 would love the company.

Looks like the grille lying underneath . . . I wonder how long it lay rusting there.

I've heard some say that the Select-o-speeds don't have a good reputation for long trouble free operation, but I have no idea.

Automatic or problematic? :)
