Hi all, Here is a question for you. What do I do with old antifreeze. I haven't changed the coolant in my 9N for years and it looks bad, brown and rusty looking. What is the correct way to dispose of it? The land fill won't take it and the oil collection folks don't want it either. I know what we did with it years ago but like everone else I am worried about ground water. Suggestions?

A lotta of folks around me simply dispose of anti-freeze by walking the railroad tracks and letting the bucket leak! RAILROAD right of ways have all kinds of junk coming outta tank cars.

Antifreeze should be brought to the nearest hazardous waste depot. Here in Canada, all garbage dumps, I mean waste collection centers, have a place to drop off automobile fluids. In a pinch go to the nearest service station/garage and ask them to take it. Don't dump it on the ground that's plain evil!!!
