Just posting sale 34 John Deere 2 cyl on sale in Bird Island MN March 26. check out Henslin Auction for sale bill. tractors are from George Ryks estate. on sale bill it was listed some had peaces missing but thay have all been replaced, and as of now most all have been started. alot of nice stuff, 36 B full steel, 2 36-37 A's w/belton overdrives. great sale.

I have always been a bit puzzled by how Godley's can have such a large farm equipment auction in the middle of a large town (Charlotte, NC) in an area the is not that much into farming. Seems a bit out of place, but they have a big one each month. I attended the last one. First one I have been to in a couple of years. What was different this time was how few farm tractors they had and how much construction equipment they had. Gobs of backhoes, track shovels, dozers, etc. Don't know if farmers are just pulling in their loose ends and sitting tight or if so many are going out of business that there are not that many left with equipment to sell, but change has for sure happened.

what happend is them goddley boys have let that place go there sales use to last about all day but now they dont care weither they get stuff to sell or not. and that place was there before charllote grew up

I have noticed that too lately. I repair farm equipment for a living near Charlotte and lately I have been patching stuff together for guys that would have normally gone and bought near new stuff. Guess people are seeing it is better to keep stuff maintained than just replace it in this economy.
