With dangerous storms and possible tornadoes in Alabama this afternoon,what does a sensible person do in the morning?? Goes to an equipment auction. 25 miles away, drove the car......if you take the truck and trailer you won't buy anything!!
. Bought a '44 Farmall A $300. Motor turns ,rear tires are decent. Bought an IH disk, probably came with the A. $50. Also an engine stand, nearly new ,$30,it's on the trailer in front of the cub. Did not buy a 8n Ford. Steering wheel and steering column were bent. Lots of weld repairs on front end components,pto was also bent off to one side??? One new rear tire.....I should have bought it ,sold for $300. The cub had a stuck motor. I stopped bidding at $400 ,sold for $500. Terrible old tires. Woods mower was nice. Several Bush hogs ,box blades and disks (5 & 6 ft) 3 point hitch stuff sold for 150-250
