B distributor replacement

Currently has a farmall horizontal distributor. Delco replacement found. Is #1 traditionally in the 8 oclock position?
I understand "center" and "fire" marks on flywheel.

on a horizontal, the #1 is normally at 10 oclock.. top left .... Really you can put it anywhere you
want as long as THAT WIRE gets fire when #1 is at TDC.... you can move the distributor in
increments ( gear mesh) to set it where ever you want, but 10 0'clock is standard.
