I have a 1944 B i am starting to restore soon. it had the after market starter and generator put on it. I want to restore it back to original, hand start and all. What flywheel do i need? As in casting numbers, or model year ranges? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You can get that information out of the parts catalog, PC0330, which you can download for free at jdparts.com. If you are truly going to restore it, you'll need that informaiton and more along the way. Start collecting your books!

I have the parts you would need to do this from a 1943 handstart B. Email me and I can give you my # if you'd like to talk it over, I live in NE Ohio and sometimes make it out to the Norwalk area.
