Back blade size

What would be a good sized back blade for a Case DC? Thanks

I would get one that it wide enough to cover wheel tracks.

Probably something at least as wide as the tractor when the blade is straight. Much wider than 72" will be hard to find (affordably). I have found a 72" to be a good size for most things.

A DC can put a lot more force into the blade than a modern tractor of the same Hp rating; so you will want to make sure it's rated for tractors in the 45hp range.

If you want to use it for clearing snow, get one that is at least as wide as the the back wheels with the blade angled. Other wise you have to drive in the windrow of snow and you won't get far. Dave

I have a Rhino 350 6ft blade on on mine and it works great. Just had to do some modifications to to use it with the eagle hitch

I use a 7' Howse on my VACs. With the tread set at 5' and the blade angled I can still cut into a bank. It's a good size for snowplowing, too. 8)
