Back To Work This Morning

Have been repairing everything I can find wrong with this old truck so it can go back to servicing my old tractors. One bad tail light ground yet to fix.

Oh, and that lost snap ring from the guts of the transmission? Resting comfortably under the right rear tire. :>)

My son found a snap ring under the truck after he pulled his truck out 79 Ford 4X4 C6 wore a hole in the case 3 years later.

The youngest was working on his wife's car Friday night. He had the Throttle plate motor/plunger off and it came apart. A small spring flew out. I saw it down in the frame rail. I could not reach it very well. So as I was lifting it up I dropped the spring. We never did find it. I had to go to town and by a new "motor" for $80.

Your truck looks like a nice one for chores and such.

Any steel part dropped in strongly drawn to any rubber tire. Believe it is the law of attraction or the gravity of the situation.

I thought there was a gravitational attraction to the oil/antifreze drain bucket!

But then just knowing it actually did make it to the floor is a blessing!

I had a snap ring hit the ceiling, the far wall, the floor and roll to a stop at my feet. I've tried to repeat that for years since then and it never has come back home like it did that one time. Jim

Years ago, I dropped something-cant even remember what. Looked all over for it, could not find it. Found it in my shirt pocket!!! Never could replicate!
