I know this post has nothing to do with garden tractors, but I need some help.

Two days ago while weed-eating around some trees, I stirred up a bees nest in the ground. I got stung 12~14 times.

How is the best (most effective) way to get rid of these things without getting stung?

Thanks for your help

I LAY A STICK POINTING TO THE HOLE IN DAYTIME. THEN AT NIGHT DOUSE THE HOLE WITH SOME 7 DUST OR POUR SOME GASOLINE INTO TO IT.

Mix up about a 3-5 gal bucket with insecticide most kinds will work. Liquid sevin, etc.

Locate the hole they are coming from. after dark swirtly pour the insecticide down the hole and douse the area. Then run.

Gasoline and such may kill trees and such if close.
It is also illegal. A technicallity I know, but true.

This works pretty good, get a 5 minute flair, like the ones used when there is a wreck, wait till is't dark, lite it and shove it into hole, sulfur will kill them and it will stay in ground for a couple days.
