Behlen overdrive styled A

I have a junk A that I am robbing the block and cylinders for another tractor. It has a Behlen road box on it. Are they worth anything and how big of a job is it to take it off. I assume I have to remove the flywheel?

Yes, they are quite high in value - especially when you can assure the buyer that it is complete, and at least serviceable! Now, if you want to see one that may be way over-priced, check out eBay Item # 320351812454. That one looks nice, but I'd rather imagine about half the seller's asking price would be a fair price!

BTW, how are things going up your way? Do you have any new books out? My mail is open - [email protected] -- drop me a line.(PatB)

it not to bad yes you have to take of flywheel also frist red cover you need both trans shafts and the to two gears inside the cover the shift linkage in the cover and the spacer on the crankshaft yes they are worth money chech out add on ebay mcgrew tractor parts they are way to high by about 3 times what these bring

There's a guy on this board looking for just the gears. I paid $175 for the all external parts but not the inside shafts. I wouldn't split it up, though. Worth a lot more as one whole unit.
