Does anyone know where a guy could buy a belt splicing tool. I need one for making endless belts doesn't have to be real wide maybe 6 inches or so. I believe they are called a alligator clip splicer. Thanks

I think the tool you are looking for is commonly used in round baler belts, I know TSC carries the splices and I think you can get the tool from them also
I Hope this Helps

I bought Alligator Steel Belt Lacing from McMaster Carr along with 6" belting to make my belt. It was pretty slick, didn't require any special tool only a hammer. Instructions, gage pin, lacing, and hinge pins were included.

Endless belts you would have to have special equipment to do that with and not the tools and clips the others talk about. Endless belts are ply seperated and glued together with a 3 foot long splice. And they were common to use to run the belt drivem hammer mills with a 4" diameter drive pully as those clips would not hold up with that small of a pully and the speeds they ran.
