Anybody ever used Belzona epoxy? It's some super expensive stuff, about $600 for a container, maybe a quart of it.
The fan broke on one of my Oliver 66s and went in to the radiator. It wrecked about 8 tubes. My boy thought he could braze or solder the rad, but wasn't having much luck so he said he'd try that stuff on it. He's had it for a year and hasn't used it for much of anything but patching engine blocks. It takes 12 hours to cure, so it'll be tomorrow before I fill it up to see if it's gonna leak.
He said the salesman told him they use it on ships. I said maybe I'll have to use salt water in it instead of antifreeze then. I hope we didn't waste our time smearing it on there.
