Best Sales Method

I have a combination of WD & WD45 tractors. All (5) run, some have attachments: loader bucket, buzz saw, brush hog. Plan on doing some minor maintenance; replace broken air intake hoses, batteries, etc. Looking for suggestions on the best way to market them so that the right people know they're available. I'm in the N.E. corner of Indiana. I saw a pretty rough one on e-bay. Having a guy come to tell me what they're worth.

Ebay will get your items in front of more people than any other way. Be sure and KNOW what you have before you list it. You will see that lots of people price there tractors too high and never get a bid. Guess they are looking for that one sucker that people say is out there. A good well attended public auction where people can actually touch things is sometimes better than Ebay, but everything has to be just right for that to be the case. Running WD in work clothes usually fetch $800 to $1200. Great metal or new tires or a WF will bump that up a little usually. Running WD45 gas tractors will usually fetch $1300 to $1800, again the tin and tire can change that as can a WF or PS or the occassional diesel engine. For a WD45 diesel in good working condition you are looking at around $3000 or a tad more.

I've seen tractors (all kinds) fetch a good price at either a farm machinery consignment or an antique machinery consignment auction. Might try and see if one is in your area. They usually draw large crowds.
