When you get the nut off, and the keyed bolt is stuck in the stump jumper, set the mower down on a 8" block, right next to the bolt. This will prevent the stump jumper from absorbing a percentage of the hammer blows, but more importantly, prevent shock loads to the lower bearing cover of the gear box.
Make a point of taking the blades off once a year so the bolts don't get stuck again.
The torque specs the guys are accurate, but no need to kill yourself to get that high. A breaker bar and a pipe is close enough. The rotation of the stump jumper is correct for a right hand thread to prevent loosening.
