All of a sudden the ability to block email from certain senders has disappeared. When I google of whatever it tells how to do it, which is how I always did but it is gone now. How to restore it?

Who is you email provider, that's the first thing anyone would need to know to try to help you.

As with most email-related questions, you didn't give nearly enough information for anyone to be able to help you. Who is your email provider, and how do you access your email?

You most likely downloaded an update to either your computer system/phone system or your specific email program/app which either removed this option or changed how to do it.

I swore off aol anything over 20 years ago. Maybe someone else has an idea.
Sometimes what you find on Internet is no longer relevant.

I do that but after the ... block senders isn't there any longer.
The feature may be temporarily disabled while AOL performs system maintenance. If that is the case it should reappear around January 2nd.

Another possibility is you've reached your limit on blocked senders.

I'm just curious why you are blocking "David Allen" and not blocking "Secretmeet" :ROFLMAO:

SecretMeet is an ad. He will have no control over that.

I wasn't trying to block David Allen. I had nothing in spam so I just put him in spam so I could show what it does. OK is there a limit on blocked emails? Maybe that is the problem. If I unblock them what then?

Here is what is there

AOL and Yahoo have the same parent company.

Appears that AOL has adopted the same email program as Yahoo mail.

My yahoo mail "more" button still has the Block Sender feature.

Have you tried logging out of AOL then back in? Maybe even log out and shut down your PC.

You might also go to upper right corner where it says "Try the new AOL email" if it is there, then switch back to regular.

Could you unblock a few of the oldest blocked senders, then see if you could block a recent sender. Might not solve your problem but might learn how aol works. Good luck.

I did unblock a few and the block is now available. All the blocked emails were in spam. Not sure it did any good anyway. I would block spam and the spam would be right back but with a different email address.

See that web address at the bottom of the page.

HTTPS / / AD. DOUBLECLICK. NET/ PCS/ CLICK

That's malware. Do the Google on how to get rid of it on your device.

That's how they operate. They switch addresses, because they know people are blocking. All you're doing is playing "wack-a-mole" trying to hit a moving target.

Apparently AOL has poor spam detection. Most email services pull most of the spam out before you even see it.
