Never used it before. This seemed like the perfect Cub for it. Looks awesome in person. Hope it lasts a while.

I would have never thought of it for metal but have used a fair amount mixed with turpentine and beeswax for tool handles and such. Looks good and can't hurt.

For a jockey shine mix one qt. of ATF with five gallon of diesel and spray it on , No rubbing just spray and go . kills ticks and fleas , spiders and bee's and other nasty things.

do not leave rag un attended it will spantanious combust..i have had it happen...............love the stuff but be careful...........dewy

No plans to paint this one. As close to original as I've ever seen. Had half inch of grease and dirt on everything. Pressure washer cleaned it up. Was happy to see the paint under the filth.....

Years ago we used to use linseed oil to waterproof concrete. Big chemicals came up with better products. I never liked the smell.

I did it to my F-20 that sits outside. I spray it down with a hobo freight spray gun and 50/50 turpentine and boiled linseed oil. It needs to be resprayed every couple years.
Before and after pics.

At the tractor club I belong to, we coat our two stationary boilers and the boilers on two traction engines with a mixture of soot and linseed oil. It is a high gloss black finish.

100 years ago as a teen I helped a neighbor farm 180 acres. I used his Super M he bought new in Bowie Tx. It never saw the inside of a barn but every winter it got a coat of BLO to every metal surface. The paint faded some, but still looked good in the late 80's.
After their death an oil company bought the land and pushed the house, barn, and SM into a big hole they dug and covered it up. I almost wanna cry.
