Branson Tractors

Does anyone have anything to say good or bad about these Branson tractors in about 30 hp. I'm thinking about purchasing one. Thanks

Made by Kukje in Korea. A friend of mine bought a 22 hp one about 2 years ago; he likes it and has had no problems with it. He only has a few hundred hours on it. I drove it and it seems to be well made.

A friend has one with a front end loader just for piddling. As long as you do light work it appears to be a very convient tractor to operate. However, I don't know about long term durability. A lot of stuff looks lightly built to me. I don't believe it will still be operating in 50 or so years like many of the old main company tractors of the 50's ie; JD, IH, MF, Case, MM, Oliver, AC, etc.

Mine is the 6530c, bigger than your question but I am reflecting on the quality of at least one product this company makes.

They are a heavy equipment mfgr and have been in business since "69. They have been selling Branson tractors for several years here in the USA....I think they started in 2002, and have over 200 dealers nationwide.

In the spring of 2007 I started shopping for a mid sized 4wd, cab, and FEL tractor. I shopped the major colors and about mid summer just gave up.

In September I was driving down the interstate and saw this row of really sharp red tractors. I stopped in and took a look. Had everything I wanted and bought it. It was not cheap, but it wasn"t built that way either.

The only problem I had was early on and it was the belt tensioner pulley for the AC. I contacted the area rep and was promptly sent, at no charge no questions asked, not only a bearing, but a bearing retaining/tensioning arm, and a v belt. The replacement is identical to what failed but have had no further problems with it.

Since then they have redesigned the pulley from a ball bearing to a roller bearing for improved performance under load. The cost to me was nothing other than installation, which I had rather do myself here at home.

So not only did I get great service, but Kukje wanted no problems with their products so, on their own initiative, fixed it so it wouldn"t fail again.

Very well made product and I am extremely pleased with it.
