break away shut down hook up???

i need to put a break away shut down cored on my Oliver 880 i have a electric trailer brake break away switch i was going to use but i cant figure out how to wire it up the my tractor. keep in mined i have a MSD 6al box and Pertronix ignition 12v neg ground sys. could some one help me out???? on hooking this thing up or does someone have a other idea

Male ,Female electric plugs.Loop a jumper in one and run the hot to the other ,send the other end, from the one with the hot , to the coil.Hope this is a good enough description if not let me know.Good luck.

I ordered a break away switch from Dennys for my sons Super M and its just a plain break away for a trailer. Didnt want to positive ground it to make it work. Went to TSC Store and gave $10.00 for a 4 lug trailer plug both male and female ends took hot wire off coil tied to a new wire ran to plug I mounted on back of tractor marked 2 of the 4 lugs to match on both male and female loop wire in female then back out of male to coil hot when you pull out female from male plug it will kill power to coil and shut off tractor. I thought it would be safer this way. By the time I paid shipping from Dennys had $40.00 in a $12.00 trailer break away. Seems I never get to old to learn a new lesson.

You will need to loop the ON/OFF power wire to your MSD through the kill switch. Just cut the existing wire and extend it so you can loop it to the kill switch.

Use white wire to one side of brake switch, ground to the other
