Breakfast Time Math, Tunica Style

1. Breakfast opens at 7am
2. Take 45 minutes to eat (I personally would be done in 20, but thats me.) 7:45am
3. 15 minutes to Arena = 8am
4. Drivers Meeting is at 8:30am (per MGPT website flyer)
5. 30 minutes to prepare before pull.

I fail to see the problem here, and for what I do, the earlier I'm at the arena, the better.

I bring this up respectfully and with respect for the opinions of all in this conversation. Each one of you I count as a friend and ally in the sport. To my knowledge the breakfast would be free any of the 3 mornings, so again, I ask where the problem is. Personally I didn't eat breakfast last year, but the reality is that it's a choice...because I didn't take the time to eat is on me and no one else. If someone were to have the wonderful luck of hooking each morning of the pull, first class, first hook, then yes, maybe, there's a problem. Late to drivers meeting? Ask someone what happened that was there. Yes, gotta warm up/weigh tractors...yep. Still time though in my opinion. In addition, I had a room snafu myself last year...but it was fixed promptly.

Just a reminder, its just my opinion, not and my opinion is worth .02. Don't spend it all in one place.

Good job Bryan, I just got off the phone with Kim at Goldstrike and she said they had a crew attaching vouchers to each room reservation. You should receive voucher for each nites stay. If ANYONE has any problems with lodging or ANY PROBLEM feel free to call me or any listed on website or flyer. My # is 501-278-6824

The Mean Green website has conflicting information.

The "Information" page has a flyer with Driver's meeting at 8:30.

The "Classes" page has Driver's meeting each day at 7:30 and pull starts at 8:00.

So, is the Driver's meeting at 7:30 or 8:30?

As a side note, what is the point of having a driver meeting if you would not want all drivers to be there? Sure, sometimes you just cannot make it and have to ask about it but the goal would be for all drivers to be there.

I"ll let Keith verify the time, but my money is laid on 8:30. To the question about missing a drivers meeting, YES, a person should make every effort to be there, but I"m talking under assumption that you"re running late and by my calculation you shouldn"t. Even if you sat and ate and talked for an hour, you would still be 15 minutes early to the drivers meeting. I"m just trying to make a clear subject clearer. I do not see the problem, and I need to be there when they open the doors to the arena!

Keith do you know if the spy cam will be broad casting this year like last? The best I can remember I went to Paul Battle event center page and there was a box for the web cam.
This was great for those of us that can't be there.

Good job guys! I'm not going to eat breakfast thursday morning because I've ate to much for supper for years and I can't stand even 1 pound more! :-) Vic

I don't know if your math will help Bryan. I suffer everyday from people not understanding math. In fact, the whole country is suffering now because a bunch of people can't do math! Good points though.

I haven't heard anything about the live feed this year. Last year was done by a volunteer so that one of our members that was in the hospital could watch.
