Broken dipstick Bushing

I have a recently purchased '53 WD and the engine oil dipstick bushing is broken off flush with the block. The part # in my book shows 230331. Anyone know where I can get one and the best way to extract what is left of the old one still in the block? Thanks much.

Find another wd block, to steal one off of, and you might want to rig up a puller screw, on a slide hammer dent puller.

Is the engine out..??

If so, drill it out and put a new bushing in.
You can get bushings of all sizes at Ace, etc..

Just drill only as deep as you want the bushing to set and JB Weld it in..

Or, grind it off flush and slip a thin tube in (brake line?) and JB Weld it in place.

Ron..
