broken roll pin

I have a 354 Perkins engine apart. The roll
pin in the block that holds thrust washer broke
off. It is about 1/8 inch in diameter. Would
anyone have an idea how to remove it?
It is on the pump drive shaft retainer washer.
Is it okay to move over a little and drill a
new hole?

Sometimes it's possible to thread a screw extractor or hard sheetmetal screw INTO the rollpin and get it to turn, then pull outward on the extractor or sheetmetal screw while continuing to rotate it.

any way to drill the pin out? a cobalt drill might be hard enough to cut it... if not, carbide will ...D

Can you fill the pin with grease, find a solid pin that will just fit into the roll pin, give that solid pin a whack with a hammer and force the roll pin out?

Good trick. I've changed clutch pilot bushings that way.
