bt sweet corn

Anyone have experience with bt sweet corn? May grow a couple acres for fresh market and wanted opinions. Also what seed dealer has best prices? We have grown sweet corn all my life just inquisitive of this type cause of all the problems with black bugs and worms.

BT anykindof corn only works on a few select insects, google BT corn

why would you want to do this? Farmers markets are basically only alive due to "locally grown organic or some other alternative to Del Monte" selling GMO sweet corn to me is like selling powder ice cream to kids. Plus a Bt corn doesnt just signal to insects stay away from me, the plant needs to be invaded before any of these profit killing traits do the job.
