I have a Hico bush hog from the 1960"s. The gear in the gear box is shot. Would like to know where to get parts or where to get new gear box. I do not have a model number on it. It belonged to my father. The model plate has probably been lost.

The guy from Ohio who sells them on eBay is good to deal with and the gearboxes are cheap.

Any one interested in a gear box for Howse Hi-Co, you can get it at Georgis Equipment Co. or Howse Implement Co. It is R-45-312. The Ga. company is a little cheaper than Howse. There was no shipping or tx at Howse.

I am looking for a gear box for my bush hog. The gear box is a 1982 BMB with four bolt holes 6" apart. The bush hog was my fathers and I am looking to fix it. I am not having very much luck and need some help. Where can I find a used one? Can I use another brand gear box? Thanks for any help.
