CA snap coupler latches

How much is too much? What's a set in "very good condition" worth? Bought them off ebay. Latches were closed, couldn't see the hooks. Springs were there but rusty.

Well i guess you paid what you thought they were worth. Now everybody out there that has a set laying around thinks they are worth 400 dollars. Hate to see how much you gave for the tractor

I bought my pair for $50 at the Allis Chalmers Gathering of the Orange show here in Minnesota a few years back. I have seen them go for $75 on up.

Do you really think money changed hands on Ebay! I paid a little more than that for mine but I had a good WD-45 attached to them. Just my thought.

wd45 latches and ca latches are not the same, wd latches are all over the place, I think i have seen one set of ca latches sell at a auction

You guys are a lot nicer than the other forum, and I didn't even post there. Yeah, probably paid too much. Just got tired of looking. The ones I do find are ok for resto but not for everyday use. That and the guy(s) bidding against me were starting to get on my nerves. Guess that's part of buying on auction.
