yes its small seed . needs to dry out good takes quite a while, then swath it and let it sit for about 3 weeks in swath to ripen and cure to remove the green seeds. now you know where your canola comes from in the cooking bottle. plus the bees make honey from them blossoms.

i would say kinda lighter but its pretty much the honey color. different plants have a different taste. like dandilions. or clover .

NOT to criticize, but that's some REALLY wimpy canola, it should be so full of blossoms that the green stems are not visible!

I may be wrong, but I think they are just starting the blooming process.

Hey Rustred. Your canola looks good. There are canola crops in our area that are really bad. Ive been straight cutting my canola for a bunch of years now. Love it.

its pretty.
what year is your dodge? mine would pass as your trucks younger brother,1991 same dark blue all peeling away. but 318 under the hood

its 1989 model . my uncle had it since new and only has 136,000 km. 318 automatic. he wanted a bare truck so no radio, no cig. lighter as no place to even charge my phone.

Its looking good, much like my area but there are also parts of Sask. where crop are being written off due to lack of rain. We are overdue for rain too but the cool weather has kept the crops going to this point. Hoping for some rain in the next day or so. Mine's about as high as the hood on the 52 Merc.
