Case 1370 PTO

Please help me with some information about our CASE Tractor, 1370 Agri King.

Serial Number: 8799883

The tractor is a good one and we would like to use it for a Crimping Machine.

But we need the PTO at 540 RPM and this one has just 1000 RPM. Some 1370's have a dual 540/1000 RPM PTO. Can a dual PTO be installed on this tractor and if so how difficult is it to do that.

I don't believe 540 is available on a 1370. As far as I know the 12/13/1570 and 23/2590's did not have 540 as an option.

I have found two that show 1370's with both 540 and 1000 PTO's. Question is can they be retro fitted if they only have 1000.

1000rpms only. no conversions ever offered, however, you can buy gear reduction boxes to deliver 540RPMs, but you better have some Big PTO shafts and ujoints, if you are going to consume all the power and torque from a 1370.

Lots of adds say that, but they are wrong. The only way is to put a gear reduction on the outside as adirondack says.

Randy I run 540 rpm implements with my 1370 and its 1000 rpm pto.

I bought an adapter and I just dont run the engine RPM's over 1000 RPM when the pto is engaged
