My father in law is looking at a 210B. how did they compare to the 300/400"s? I presume is a lower HP 300?? Are the engines the same or are they something different? and are parts available? thanks.

The 200 Series has the 123 cubic inch VA Series engine. The 300 has a 148 cubic inch engine. There is a pretty good looking 210B w/loader up for auction on Ebay, see link below. Yes, most parts are available. The instrument cluster is one of the things that is not available.

The 210B had a 126 cid engine (actually 126.5).

All the 210B's that I have seen had individual gauges not a cluster gauge panel.

Thanks. that loader looks big for the tractor. I looks like it belongs on it but big. Is that a good price? Too bad he didn"t say if it has PTO and 3pt (or Eagle) hitch.

The loader is of the industrial type as this tractor is a Utility version of the 200B. Many of these tractors also had the backhoe mounted on the back. It has the heavy non-adjustable, low profile, front and rear axles. The shuttle is nice for loader work, but with a bare back, thats about all its good for. You can add a pto fairly easily (I think), but it won't be live or independent and so is also about worthless. The eagle hitch must be from another utility 200B. It is hard to find another utility 200B that is equiped with these options in a salvage yard. What your looking for is probably the General Purpose 200B with a farm loader. It sets higher on adjustable axles front and rear and usually has eagle hitch, live pto with the hand clutch and one or two sets of hydraulic outlets. What you won't get is beefed up side rails on the engine area and power steering. Therefore the farm loaders made for these tractors are not as heavy and usually are covered in welds after 50 years of use. A heavier loader on an ag tractor would bust up the tractor instead of the loader.

I paid $1,600 for my 311 and it was probably worse shape? It had a bad rod bearing, worn out rear tires, and a messed up grill. The 311 has an Eagle Hitch, but no loader. Prices on smaller tractors like this are higher here in the east.
