Hello all,

I am looking to get a front end loader for my case 2294. I’m fully aware it’s not the best loader tractor, but it’s what I have. What’s the best way to find one? I understand that some loaders are universal and one purchases brackets to fit them to their make and model of tractor. Thanks in advance for the advice guys.

It is best to find a loader that already has the brackets to fit your tractor.

New or used? If used like said in previous post it's best if you get one with the brackets for your tractor. Otherwise you'll have to buy the brackets separately. It's always nice to find one that came off of a similar tractor because they often will come with hoses and control that will work with your tractor. My neighbor has 2 case tractors, a 1070 and another newer, don't remember the size but along the lines of your 2294. He has 3100 DuAll loaders on both of them and is happy with them.

You will need a 3150 dual/woods loader. the 3000 or 3100 are for small frame tractors, the 1270 through 2594 are considered large fram. Loader looks the same but has a wider stance allowing for the wider hoods of bigger tractors. Simple, affordable loaders that are easy on and off. I am sure there are others, but I think the woods/dual loader would probably be the cheapest.

I stand corrected. My neighbor's 1070 has a 3100 and his other tractor which I remember is a 2594 has a 3150.

I like the quicke or allied. not as clumsy and visibility seems better than some other makes/

The 2290 is narrow frame like the s.aller 70 series and can use the narrower loaders as well.

With your 90 series you will need to move the muffler closer to the cab to get behind the loader. Kits are available for that.

Usually, it is cheaper (and easier) to find a tractor with a loader already on it, than to search for, and buy a loader to fit any tractor that you own without a loader. Mark.

I think we will have to agree to disagree on that, I have never seen a 20 or 2290 with the 3100 loader, they will always have a 3150 dual loader, other loaders may vary, but I don't think the 3100 will work on a 90 or 94 series tractor.
