Case 2470 stopped moving

The father in law has a 2470 that has lost it's steering, hydraulics, and will not move. We pulled the hydralic pump off the back of the trans, and the drive shaft for the pump can be held when the motor is running. What drives this shaft on the front end. Any Ideas?

Pull the engine out. The shaft goes to the flywheel. Replace torque limiter plates and check the coupler on the shaft where it goes in the flywheel. Look at the teeth on the coupler and also in the flywheel. You are going to find a problem there.
