I went down to a neighbor who just took down his old barn and had to move a lot of equipment out and happened to notice a really nice model 412 sitting there. I am not familiar with that model but looked like a pretty good size engine similar to a LA. It has a nice wide front and is free. She he would consider selling it.
 
If you are SURE it is a 412 buy it they were a 1 year specialty low production model based on the 400. Depending on the usual: i.e.; price, location I would be interested in it.
 
It for sure is a 412,I will write with the rest of the serial# later.I am located in CA .I will try to post pics,I would like to add to my collection but just saved a 610b and wife said no way. I will figure out a good bribe, Happy wife happy life. Hee,hee
