I have recently purchased a Case 530 Tractor. After much research (thanks to the internet and some people in the area that are in the 80 year old range) I have found outd that I have a Case 511 B. I still think I got a good buy, but anyone looking for an old tractor do your home work first!!! The decals on the tractor are cheap and have a tendency to make an older tractor look like a newer model. I am now looking for parts to fit this tractor. I am not looking to restore this tractor only put it in better shape. If you have parts or know of anyone having parts for a Case 511 B please contact me. Jack

Jack, there is a free "wanted" section under the "classified ads" tab on the left of the page site..just list what you're needing and see if anyone replies. Good luck with it!

Tim I have now posted an add. Thank you for the information. I am kind of slow learning this stuff. You know it gets a little harder after you turn 68. Jack Thanks again.

Jack, I lived in nearby Butler for 3 years in the early 80's. I even went spelunking in Monegaw Springs caves...good memories, of good people. Wish I could help you with the parts you need, but I don't have any 500 stuff.Good luck in your tractor endeavor!

I got kinda taken too by a {supposed 430} it was advertised as a 430, when I dug deeper it is a 441 a cheaper version without live pto or power steering and fewer gears. it is solid though and runs well. its just Buyer BEWARE

Some of the 530/630 series parts will interchange with the 511b it just depends want you need I would buy a parts manual for both(or look on caseih.com parts search) and see if the part numbers are the same, I broadens your search parameters at the salvage yards. Bearings, seals and such can be found at your local bearing shop or NAPA. BTW, the 511-b became the 630 don't let the number "5" confuse you.

Just to clear up confusion, 530 is the series. The actual serial model number will change based on the exact configuration. Utility, wide front vs narrow front. For example, my 830 high crop is actually an 833, my 400B row crop is actually a 411B. You have gotten a great old tractor and should get many years of use from it. John Saeli is an excellent resource for parts, as is Don Livingston. Many are still available through a Case IH dealer. I am in Massachusetts and my dealer is in Intercourse PA, Ag parts are tough to find up here. There is a good chance that your local NAPA has a lot of tune up parts for the tractor too. When you come up with a specific question, put it here on this forum and any one of a whole bunch of excellent Case people will get you an answer. Good luck with the old girl.
