Have a 580 B and the hydraulic swivel joint on the boom leaks badly. I tried to rebuild it with new "O" rings but it still leaks as bad.(Probably too worn). A new one was listed at $260.00 and I can't afford that.

Does anyone know where I might get a good used one or can I put a solid block in its place and extend all the hoses to do away with the swivel.

Any help would be appreciated.

Terry, mine had been converted to rigid fittings when I bought the machine, they seem to work ok. Also the Imperial Eastman adaptors catalog I have shows live swivel adaptors in various sizes & configerations good to 3000 psi.send me an E-mail & I'll scan the pages from the catalog & send them to you Along with some better pictures of how my hoses were done
