case 800 tractor

Just wondering what this 800 would be worth, tires fair, sheet metal good, runs but needs clutch. i see only 225 were made on tractor data. Also has the eagle hitch, Not sure what i'am getting into yet,as i need to run it around a bit. Thanks for all replys steve

an 800 does not have a clutch, that would be a 700. If its an 800 it has case o matic. Unless someone changed it over.

I hope that mfg.number you listed was a misprint. That was maybe 1 weeks production run,our local dealer sold maybe 100 or more.

The number shown on the Case 800 page on Tractordata is the number of diesel standard 800's made, not the total number of 800 series tractors.

I paid $800.00 for my gasser 811B. If the Caseomatic isn;t working good it could be something simple like low oil or dirty filters. Or they may not know how to run a Caseomatic.

i have an 800COM and it certainly does have a clutch. the COM is a lever that locks up the torque converter into direct drive. the clutch lets you start and stop and also shift gears.

I paid $1200 with loader and woods mower for ours a few years ago. Not a real sought after tractor. The transmisions have some shifting problems, For us it is a good fire wood getting tractor. For the kids it's easy clutchto use. They just let it out and give it a little trotle
