Case 930 - 3 Point ?

I"m wondering if the 930 CK (1968, 401 diesel) originally had chains on it that connected to the 3 point arms to stop them from swaying, or if it just relied on the sway blocks when using an implement. I"m going to be using a 3 point plow soon to dig some drainage ditches and I want to be sure I hook it up correctly. It doesn"t look like there was any kind of "stabilizer" on it previously (no weld marks, etc.). Any info. would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

My dad and my uncle each purchased a 930 ck in 1967/68 and neither tractor had any chain on 3 point hitch. they just had ajustable sway blocks. chain may have been an option i dont know

The 830s and 930s Dad owned had only sway blocks with no chains. The smaller series 430-530 had a couple of different chain setups on the draft-o-matic models.

Thanks for the great info guys. I looked in the online parts finder and it doesn"t show anything about chains, so they must not of had them on there. When you say "adjustable" sway blocks you mean they were adjustable up and down, right? Someone replaced one of the blocks on my 930 with one that is not as wide as the stock one. Would it be easiest just to weld some additional flat stock on that one to make it the same thickness as the stock one(dimension from left to right when looking at it from the back of the tractor)?
Thanks!

In my 830 op. manual (the same as a 930)The sway blocks can be installed in two positions. when sway blocks are installed with the offset outward (thick side facing out)a rigid mounted category 2 hitch is obtained. when sway blocks are installed with the offset inward,(thick side facing in) maximum sway for category 2 implement is optained while category 1 implement will have a limited amount of sway.

I checked on that online parts book and couldn"t find the chains. What category are the chains shown under? I"ve searched twice.

I also have a question about the sway blocks. Since the right one on mine is smaller than the left I assumed it was one someone just through on there. Can anyone tell me if the right one is supposed to be smaller than the left?

Thanks
