... gotta figure that outMy 1951 VAC is like that. It needs very little choke to start, even in cold weather.Bottom half of the 'ford' carb cleaned up nicely and runs the tractor great. We didn't swap out the choke linkage yet ,but it's never needed choke to start anyway. Next issue,the linkage between the throttle lever,foot pedal and governor doesn't play well together
My 51 VAC is also that way.
My VAC has always need a bit of choke to start but after it does it runs just fine.
